Im also going to Bali next week to spend my birthday! Im so excited!! Im pretty sure the heat is not as the same in Dubai. Just use tons of Sunblock. :)

We were in Bali last year during the first half of June, and the weather was lovely. Not too hot, few occasional rain showers. In all, very pleasant.

Bali in May will be dry season, hot and humid with temp around 32'C or little bit high but not as hot as in DXB. have lots of water and sun cream.
