The Aussie dollar is strong...hovering around 1 for 1 with the US dollar. Makes me wonder why we pay more than double the price of goods in the US. My recent Christmas whine was about Nintendo DS games - in the US, $19.99; same game in Australia $58.75. *stamp foot* (whinge over ;) ) If you don't mind pirated games, you could download games and use them on an NDS/NDSi/NDSi XL, by using a mod chip. There is an recommended online retailer of these slot cards in Australia http://www.ozmodchips.com/dsi-and-dsi-xl-c-47.html Just wanted to let you know of an option.;) Sorry for going offtopic

Their rates have been the same for ages and an increase of 2 dhs per half kilo is still not bad when you think of the increase in the fuel we have all had to pay. I'll still be using them as you save so much on the UAE shop prices even after shipping Yeah,thats true. Just complaining as everything seems to be getting more expensive all at once. I thought Dubai was expensive...until I came back to Australia where petrol is currently over $1.30 per litre (around AED4.20) in my area and a 500mL bottle of water or diet Coke is AED10 in the supermarket! ;) Hehe! Maybe thats because the OZ dollar is so strong now.

I miss S&S. :( Having gotten so used to S&S in Dubai and getting goods SO much cheaper from the US, I wince every time I have to pay prices asked in Aus. S&S doesn't ship here and the best rate I can get direct from the US is USD40 for up to 500g. One company charges $40 per order PLUS shipping and handling!
