I m looking to do brazilian blow out treatment for my hair.I checked with few highly recommended salons (Essentials etc), everyone is quoting 1500-2000 Dhs to start with. This satwa salon is offering blow out for 700 Dhs for any length. Did anybody do it from them? Do they use original product? How come they can offer such a low price if product is really expensive??? Btw, this salon is highly recommended everywhere. I am afraid they may use some sub standard product on my hair. Please give me feed back on this.Or if can recommend someone else with reasonable price. My hair is fairly thick and long.

Thank You.

We (my friend and I) went to Beauty plus after seeing recommendations on here and it was a disaster. We booked a saturday appointment a couple of weeks in advance and confirmed the price at 700 after sending photographs of our hair via whatsap. On arrival at a random salon, through a side entrance above a series of shops in satwa, we were told only after one of us had our hair washed that our hair would be 2,000 based on the length and thickness and that it would take 3-4 hours per person, so we would be there for 6-8 hours plus the ladies lunch break. After some bullying by the lady that we had wasted her saturday and all her bookings by not agreeing to the price, she wouldnt negotiate and give us the previously agreed price listed on the website and via our messages, and so we left. We managed to get an appointment at the hair salon in Media one hotel who also use brazilian blow out products. it took 1.5 hours, charged us 1000 aed, much better service and environment, and both of us were able to have a drink afterwards and enjoy the rest of our afternoon For the experience I would definitely NOT use beauty plus satwa. PS I have done the treatment 1-2 times per year for the past 4 years and I love the results. I wouldnt go back to keratin. Previously I always went to maquee but their price has doubled over the past year hence looking elsewhere.

Hi Smartee. I have just had Brazilian Blowout done at Senses Salon, JLT - they used proper products, not cheaper copy. Contact 04-4572290 I paid 800 (negotiated discount with manageress) but my hair is only shoulder length - it is fine but there is lots of it... I was pleased with their service, knowledge and attention. They styled it with the hot irons so it turns under slightly at the ends, not just pulled straight! Only had it done on Monday but good so far. They are in Tiffany Tower, JLT, which can be a nightmare parking, but if you call them as you arrive they will come down with parking access too! I just had this brazilian blowout from senses salon JLT. They literally sold me this treatment. To clear i have very frizzy and curly hair. Somehow i came across reviews which were good about keratin for this salon. But no, my hair looked pretty when i left the salon because she blow dried after hair wash. But when i washed my hair the next day i started to have slight curls. Its not that easy as they say to just step out of shower dry your hair and you are ready. I have to properly blow dry my front hair. I dont have curls yet in my back hair but it wont last 5-6 months as they stated. Good luck with you but i think its like this everywhere. Hey sarah000000, It's very old thread if you check date  I went to same salon Beauty Plus Ladies salon. I loved the result for my hair. Hairdresser her self was so professional, she explained to me what I should expect from this treatment. Result was exactly what she told me. I get this treatment every now and then. Could not be more happier. I am sorry for your bad experience. And hey, yes price for me is 700 Dhs ever since.

I did mine for Dhs. 700 at East Elegance Salon in Al Barsha. They have quite a few branches in Dubai. They did use the genuine Brazilian blowout product. They did quote me more when I called but after consultation brought it down. I look forward to doing with them again.

Hi Smartee, I went to Nikki Salon in Discovery Gardens. To clarify this is for a Brazilian keratin straightening treatment...Brazilian blow out is a different brand of product--but almost sure we mean the same thing. Nikki offers True Keratin (organic and gentler) and Brazilian Cacau. They suggested the latter for me. I think both are the same price. To give you an idea, I have wavy hair that is kinky is some places but not tight curls all over. The treatment left my hair pin straight, which relaxed after a week, to a much nicer version of my own waves. I didn't start.getting a hint of frizz until 10 weeks post treatment. I bought the Tru Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner to maintain it, and let me say, that stuff is amazing! I don't think I will ever buy Kerastase again, even if I discontinue these treatments. Hope this helps Thank you but I am looking for brazilian blow out.I never liked any of keratin treatment. Seems fair to call salon and check what product they are using. I have read good reviews about them everywhere. I hope they will be using original products anyway.

I suggest calling the salon and just asking which products they use. Where I get my hair cut, they charge 2000 dhs and up, so I checked for groupon deals. I called different salons, and they told me which kind of product they use. After researching the products, I booked a treatment and am very, very pleased with the results. The gals were skilled and super friendly. (not always the case!) The groupon voucher + "long hair" charge came to 350 dhs. Next time I go back, they said it will only be 800 dhs. So the price does not exactly mean the product is garbage. It may have more to do with the salon overhead. (Salaries, rent, etc). Hi Beebers, where did you get it done? Which salon? edited by smartee on 13/08/2014
