Thanx I'll have a look in homecenter, good to be able to actually see things first rather than blindly ordering off the internet :) Thanx all

Sorry, I didn't mean it to be a negative response, just that the one we had got limited use. It was very useful on occasions but, to be honest, it was often easier to use the buggy or sit my wee one on my knee than to go through all the faff of attaching the thing to the chair and then trying to tie a wriggling child in! No worries at all, I was looking for honest feedback :) There's so many fad ideas for babies and children so good to now if its worth it or not :)

I got one very similar to this in the Home Centre MOE but it must be more than a year ago.

We have one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/ON-THE-GO-BOOSTER-SEAT/dp/B0000A11ZQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1303113909&sr=8-3 can't remember where we got it from. Maybe that babyshop near Bur Juman (the one on the opposite side of the road, not the one a bit further down on the same side). It's a bit bulkier than the one you are looking for but not bad and has been brilliant, she has used it since she could sit up and at nearly 3 can still use it, although she doesn't really need one anymore.

I used a fairly basic one from Jojomamanbebe. I used it a few times but they don't actually support the child. The one we had slipped pretty easily if my wee one moved on the seat. The children in the pictures are fairly big too, the bit at the front would be a bit all encompassing! It was handy to carry with me but my wee one was pretty good at sitting still, wish I could say the same now! so it didn't get as much use as it might. They're also a bit convoluted to get onto the seat, not a one handed operation! It was useful on occasion but not a necessity, if there wasn't a high chair, I fed both of mine strapped into their buggies.

I've definitely seen these here but can't remember exactly where. I think it must have been one of the more upmarket boutique stores. Try the little baby shop in the mall near the big Magrudy's on Beach Road (Za Ze Zoo I think) or Favourite Things maybe?
