Has anyone been caught out with this previously? I bought vouchers for Madinat Brunch and when I tried to book I was told they were fully booked on the day that I wanted (I'd mentioned the vouchers), however I got my PA to call and reserve a table (no vouchers), she managed to book a table for the same day. They told her the vouchers weren't valid on certain days but that isn't specified on the Ts and Cs. Are they just chancing it? Perhaps they don't want a table full of half price brunchers when Dubai is full of tourists!

I'm a bit of a voucher-a-holic but I always assume that I'll have to be careful about availability/booking etc, especially when the deal is so good. They should of course honour what they state, but if they can fill the restaurant/hotel/salon with full paying customers of course they will!

Sahara it is to do with the friday brunch having these special public holiday ones.... see below! Sorry, I did not know that the brunch is only on Fridays. I think communication may be an issue, if they had informed the OP of special events that will not accept the vouchers, then she would have asked the same question as you of when one could avail the voucher, instead of brushing her off by saying it's fully booked. JM2C. It states on the cobone page that it's for Friday brunch only •Valid on Fridays only It does not state specifically about dates being excluded, it does say •Not valid in conjunction with any other offer which i assume would get them around the whole Easter/wedding situation. Thanks, Lady B, I was starting to feel guilty about pointing people in the direction of this deal. (I'm still really excited about celebrating my birthday there!)

I bought the vouchers early today and booked for a Friday in a few weeks time without any problem, she asked if we were using any vouchers and accepted the Cobone ones without any problem. Such great value, I was really happy to arrange them for when my DD is home with her BF!

Phew :) I got worried about it for a mo, but I've just booked it for the date I wanted, which is my birthday but not a special holiday Friday for anyone else ;) Sometimes it's just best to be resigned to being one of the hoi polloi :)

I think they don't know what they are doing as we had them calling us back to say the original booking date had to be changed.... we are now going on the 8th April ( unless they call again!)

I did book one brunch with the vouchers with no problem however couldn't get a table for the following Friday as they told me they were fully booked. They told my PA a different story (ie that they weren't valid); I think they are chancing it and have been caught out with poorly drafted Ts and Cs...have raised this with Cobone. If this doesn't work it'll be Friday Brunch at Mina a Salam every Friday in May!!!

LOL , I have just booked the brunch with the cobone voucher ( it says you have to tell them when booking about having the voucher, and they took the first 3 digits of my confirmation email).......... we can't use it for 29th april as they have a Royal Wedding special brunch on, and can't use it on the 22nd april as they have a easter special brunch on!!!!!!!!! I just said when can I use it then!

If you bought today's deal (brunch at Mina A'Salam), it did say on the buy page that it is only valid on Fridays. If you had tried to reserve other than on a Friday, they should have just told you it's not valid instead of saying it's fully booked. I just don't bother with these deals anymore.....

Must admit to always booking first (telling them I have vouchers even if I havent)and [i'>then [/i'>buying the vouchers, as I'm convinced if I do it the other way round I'll end up out of pocket with vouchers and no table! But given the amount that were bought today, I think they are trying it on, as the T&Cs clearly stated that it was valid on Fridays only
