DEWA online - help, please!

After my debacle with du, getting cut off because of not knowing that we owed them money, I am now trying to make sure the same doesn't happen with DEWA, but whenever I try to log on to the English page as a customer via FireFox, I get a warning that this is not a trusted site (this has not happened to me before). Could someone who is an online customer and uses Firefox be kind enough to test it for me, please? (I accessed it OK via Safari, which I happen to have on my PC but not sure about its security settings).
Thanks a lot.

It's been a long while since I registered for online access. If I remember correctly, once you have registered online, they will automatically send you an email reminder once a month assuming you have entered your email address under "Contact Details" on the left hand panel. So double check to see if your email address is there or not.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were able to access it before and only now have the warning signs come on. I just tried by using my usual link https://ebpphome.dewa.gov.ae/ to log on and have no warnings come up. May be a good idea just to clear the cookies as well. Good luck! Clearing the cookies has made absolutely no difference! I'm baffled. I'm now using Safari to access my account, just in case! I wonder if you can help a bit more, please - I can access our bills on line, when I remember to look, but I can't find out how to get sent an email reminder, as you mention, which is really what I want (and what du should be doing in future, I hope!). In any case, from now on have decided to adopt a policy of paying a guestimate sum in advance of the bill being issued, so I don't get into this trouble again..

I've never had any problems accessing DEWA before last night and have not changed my security settings in FF since the last time I accessed DEWA. I don't quite see what I should do to change my security settings, anyway, as they are the same as they always have been. I keep getting the following message from FF: "This Connection is Untrusted You have asked Firefox to connect securely to ebpphome.dewa.gov.ae, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure. Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified. What Should I Do? If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue." When I try to accept the site's certificate, FF gives me dire warnings about it. This has never happened to me before, in many years of secure internet use. I've cleared my cache a couple of times, but still get the same thing. I wonder if I should clear my cookies, as well? Thanks for the advice about signing up for email bills - I thought I had already, but apparently not!

Haha, I went through the same with Du as I wasn't receiving the paper bills! I can't access the log in page through FF for DEWA either. Flags up something about security certificates.

No problems accessing DEWA website via FF at all. As Jules said, may need to change your security setting. Don't forget to sign up for email reminder so that when a new statement becomes available, it will be sent to you via email. I only get paper statements sporadically so the email reminder really helps.

Fine when I use FF, you need to change your security settings and add it as a trusted site then.
