Hey Ladies,

So in my previous post i spoke about being very sick having high fevers at night and during the day not being able to eat or drink or i would just vomit it up. So by the end of the day i became so weak i had OH take me to Welcare and the doctor there told me i have a UTI. Hooked me up to an IV to get liquids back in me and gave be xrays and some antibiotics to take for 10 days to clear up the uti.

From all of that i was feeling it just ends up a UTI and a high white blood cells count? I have unsuccessfully been doing some research on UTI's giving fevers and can't find much.. except that once the UTI gives you a Kidney infection then you should get fevers. (I know... reading online, BAD)

Anyway, I feel MUCH better thann i did and was able to go to work today. The only thing i still have is this ache in my lower back and my stomach has bloated so much i can't recognize it anymore and it hurts to walk with it.. i kinda hold it like i'm pregnant :/. Weighed myself and gained 6lbs in 1 day?! I'm a bit concerned about this...

So the reason i am posting all of this TMI post is because i was curios if any of you have had a similar experience? Or if you could recommend me a GOOD doctor so i can get a second opinion? Maybe i should see a gyno?

Thanks so much if you read that all!!

Special M, pls get that checked - the doctors at either of the Dubai London Clinics are generally thought of as very good by Expat Women who go to them. I see Dr Barbara at the Jumeirah Beach road and I am really happy with her.

I went to welcare when i fell and the doctor said there was nothing wrong, i went for a second opinion to the Dubai mall clinic and the ortho told me i had a second degree ligament tear and have to be a cast for three weeks. I dont trust the doctors at welcare, i would recommend the GP Dr's at Dubai London Clinic.

Definitely get that checked. Lower back pain could well be related to kidneys and bloating and fluid retention as well. Don't leave it with a 'wait and see' - you are uncomfortable - get it sorted. Noone should have to live with that. I need to find a decent doctor here.. I have even tried a tea containing senna which always helps :x Nothing!
