Thanks for your feedback JS. I will go see Woof as well but my bigger dog is a saluki mix and probably too big for them to keep there. What about DKC - any good/bad feedback about them? Any other good/bad experiences at Posh Paws specifically for dogs?

Why dont you visit Woof groomers and see? They dont have many kennels so no excuse will be given that they were busy with all the dogs staying! And did you check with Energetic Panacea on al wasl road? They also have few kennels and I am totally sure that the people who work there are real animal lovers.

You will have few people here who would recommend Posh Paws. I dont recommend them! I dont have dogs but my cat returned from there very ill. The guy who clean for them and put food for them doesnt understand the basic english words! My bf at that time went to check up on her and she was extremely sad. They didnt clean her bowl once in 7 days, both of the 2 bowls I gave them were very very dirty AND I gave them her special food but they didnt feed that to her! I had to pay a huge vet bill when I took her back from there and by the way she was supposed to stay for 10 days but my bf returned her back before as she looked miserable. I dont know about dogs..

Went and checked out Urban Tails. It is a beautiful place - very clean and appears to be well kept and the dogs are out of their cages for most of the day, but it is just too expensive for us for 2 dogs for 2 weeks right now :( Has anyone else used Posh Paws? We went and visited them and I was just about to confirm but did a search on here for earlier threads and a few people have been very unhappy with them and said their dogs came back very ill from there?? I have never put my dogs in kennels before and do not want it to be a bad experience for them. Any other ladies tried Posh Paws or other kennels you can recommend (haven't made it over to Woof but will call them tomorrow for sure).

It is a new 5 stars pet resort. This is their location http://www.urbantailsdubai.com/location.php See earlier thread http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=141785 It depends on your budget and how long your dog will stay. Woof mentioned to me yesterday that they give dicsount if your dog will stay for a long period, so you should ask for discount anywhere you go :)

I just came from there :) That's their website. http://www.woofdogroomers.com/get_intouch.html I dont have dogs so I dont know if they are good or not in boarding services, the space looked enough for small to medium size dog and the place is so tidy and clean. They have a play area for dog but I was in rush so didnt check it. You might want to go there and see. Have you also checked Urban Tails Pet Resort?

http://www.woofdogroomers.com Hi Green Queen here is there website and you can get them on Facebook lots of photos showing the boarding kennels and day care of all the dogs having great fun. My dog goes to day care and spends his vacations there and absolutely loves it. Tania and her staff are fantastic with the dogs and you can tell that the dogs love them.

Hi Jasmine57 Have a look at Pet Palace, they are brillaint I have had my large dogs there and they love it, they get so excited when they get there. If you have a look at their website you will see what it looks like, they also have a facebook page that shows the kennel area, pool and outside run. But do call them as they are great and they do take very good care of your pets. Mine love their staff and they were so happy when i got them back. (think they had a better holiday then I did).

[quote ETA: Posh Paws is our favorite choice (if we have to use a Kennel as we usually like to keep our pets at home) I have friends who's dogs actually get excited when arriving at posh paws as they remember what a good time they had! It must be something about Posh Paws - my dog loves going there too. What dog wouldn't love a holiday on a farm?? ;) It's gorgeous out there.

Any recommendations for the closest dog kennels to Dubai Media City area ? Posh paws pick up if thats any help? www.poshpawsdubai.com And then there's the one in Green Community (Think its Homley Petz), and then Woof! which is in Al Qouz ETA: Posh Paws is our favorite choice (if we have to use a Kennel as we usually like to keep our pets at home) I have friends who's dogs actually get excited when arriving at posh paws as they remember what a good time they had! Although my pets are not like that anywhere away frm home Homely Petz does a house sitting service I think, although haven't used them myself. <em>edited by AdviceSeeker on 14/03/2011</em>
