Good doctor for back/spine problems

hi Ladies
I am looking for recommendations for a good Western doctor (NeuroSurgeon/Orthopedic Surgeon)preferably British or South African or if not then European that specialises in back pain. I've had MRI's done in the past and know i have an issue with my spine but was just told to take pain killers and go see a chiropractor. Which actually isnt helping at all.
I would like to go for another MRI and then have the doctor help me with some treatment, not just send me to another chiro and tell me to take painkillers. Need a better solution that will have more long term affects, but dont necessarily want someone that will also just want to do surgery
