"The Innocents" (1961 - from Henry James' "The Turn of the Screw") Saw that on telly when I was 12, didn't see another horror film till I was 18 and went to see "Don't Look Now" (1973, also based on a short story, I think). Paranormal activity I Didnt really scare [i'>while [/i'>I was watching it, but two nights later...nope, cant watch it again. My reaction exactly - stayed with me for a looooong time. No way will I watch it again. There are two endings though - I think I saw the one with the scarier ending but I have no intention of checking that out by watching the alternative one!
