There are a good few hotels around the marina, which is obviously close to the beach and to the Metro, which will take them to the Mall of their choice... I think pretty much anywhere is cheaper than Atlantis! Some great offers on at Atlantis presently, well they keep emailing them!

I stayed at Jumeirah Beach Hotel a few years ago on a visit from the UK and it was great. Nice rooms, great staff and pool area, etc. I would choose a hotel down at the beach if I had the choice....

Look at some of the Atlantis deals or EK hotels combined deals on Expedia.

What sort of budget are they on...? Nothing too pricey but they do like a bit of luxury.

I have some friends planning a 40th birthday weekend nearer end of year in Dubai and wondered if you ladies could recommend which would be best area for them to stay? I live in Abu Dhabi and only ever do day trips to Dubai but usually to the malls. I have never been down the Jumeriah Beach area and wondered if that would be a good place for them to stay? Of course I will be joining them too. ;) Their requests are sun, fun and shopping!! TIA
