I have to agree. people should dress for their size. tight dresses like they are stuffed into sausage casings! must have been a few cases of 'camel toe' there me thinks!

Saw a few sights while at various functions in Doha too. Seems like dressing like chavs and thinking you look good crosses borders. All ages guilty of this, 20 somethings thinking "I am young so will wear what I like even if I look tarty or built like a brick s*** house" and more mature ladies trying to reclaim their youth by having all on show "cos I live in a hot country and it doesn't matter" Passed a group of girls coming out of our local hotel last weekend dressed in tiny skimpy clothes clutching bottles of something. Our local police are very strict and the bottles were confiscated! It was 4 degrees and these daft lassies were clearly freezing!! After their ticking off they went straight back inside. It's zero tolerance of boozing on the streets in our wee toon!

Some of the sights I saw last year in York on race day weren't nice, but I actually found it quite sad. There's nothing nice about trying to be something you're not, on the cheap, and without any natural style or grace. Worse for me was the girls carrying their bottles of Cava with them on the way to the course. It just summed it up - we cant even afford to buy the drinks in there. It really was quite horrible and I felt sorry for them.

I suppose they do! To be fair to the ladies of Liverpool, the event was probably full of stunningly dressed women too, but they don't make good tabloid fodder :) I suspect you're spot on there. ;) And I'll bet they're all wearing tights [an absolute must'>, have tastefully matching shoes and bags, are colour-coordinated, aren't drunk, and haven't walked out with half the Maybelline counter slapped on their ugly mugs. :D

I think it should be mandatory for every woman to take a picture of herself before leaving the house ie.. do her knees stand out so much that is all you can see? wear tights or get a longer dress, or..wear pants that fit. can you get a relativley good picture of her 'wazoo' hope she is wearing panties@!!! have a pic taken from the back view in 2 poses. one, standing straight the other with a slight bend at the hips...is the grand canyong on display, if so, get a longer and loser dress are the boobs positively bulging out over the dress. get a bigger dress, better bra or stay home if those babies are lifted so high the are threatening to chock you. so there you have it. Pictures before the outing. Looking in a mirror just does not do it apparently lol That advice is all well and good for women who can 'look from the outside in', and have some small sense of what looks good and/or tasteful [and what doesn't!'>, but I'll bet most of the women captured in the pix on this link think they look 'well hot'. And no amount of planning or pre-departure photography will dissuade them from that. ;) Of course, they're probably ALSO simply ecstatic they've had their photographs taken at all -- fame in this media-hungry age being what it is -- and I also suspect there's a whole legion of women who weren't photographed this time around, who will be planning their next outing with special attention being paid to knicker-flashing, b00b-spilling and super-garish make-up. Chilling. :D

Lol no problem Pancake! I agree with SueB completely - I think any woman, no matter their size or shape, can look absolutely stunning when dressed well. Equally, as these pics show, any woman no matter how large or skinny can look rough as anything when dressed poorly! My fave is the streakers! At the races? Really? Lol!
