Literally wandering around outside Geant. I've put a thread on Pets but please, mods, can you leave this one on here just for a wee while? :)

He's cream-coloured, middle-aged and has a husky-like tail and a desert-dog face. And let's just say he's been well-fed over the years :D. He's currently at my house so if you've lost him, call me on 050 7593756.

If Oscar ever goes walkabout I just hope and pray someone like you would find him and look after him till I could collect him - although I'd be there in minutes not days! Sorry, I had to pop out. If Oscar ever turned up here he'd have bed and board for as long as he needed. And a space on the sofa ;). DH says thanks for the QS and I'm in trouble if there's none left when he gets home from Saudi! I guessed that he would be safe with you. Enjoy the QS and I hope the other item helps too. x

Do you think she was delighted to see him? Did you ask her where she had put up her 'lost dog' flyers? I am afraid he may go missing again. Honestly? No. And no, but the lady who called me first asked her and she hadn't. I'm just about to call K9 and DARC to say he's been found, and I'll pass on his address in case he's found again. Awww, jillp, you don't have to do that! I live in Springs 1 but I'm just pleased he's gone home. And thank you for thinking of me. Let's just say I'll be footing the bill for the car and there are no Quality Streets in sight! Never mind. I didn't expect anything, just wanted to get him home (and out from under my feet). I hope they might consider getting him chipped or at least tagged, but I'm not optimistic. I couldn't get Tippex to stay on the inside of his collar, either :(.

hmm, firstly hope it is their dog just so you can get rid, but secondly would hand them a BILL for food, printing, phone calls and sick clear up! Cheeky so and so's. Take their names and when they leave with dog call the DM and give them name and address and mention no TAG or CHIP LOL

Shame DC. I just find the whole thing surreal. If it had been my dog (which, before anyone says anything, is microchipped, Dm tagged and also has a phone no tag on) and someone had found him, id be over there like a shot!!! Some people continuously amaze me, and not in a good way either! Having read through the whole thread, sadly all I can say is that that old adage springs to mind... "no good deed goes unpunished".... :D

I just got The Call. There is currently some confusion over when the dog went missing, as the owner is convinced she fed him on Friday morning. So I am not holding my breath. I will, however, have to hold it at least until around 1pm tomorrow, which is when she is apparently coming over to pick him up. Refraining from further comment...

I'm drowning in baby barf today. DS is on medication for glue ear and I think it'll need changing - that's the fourth night in a row he's upchucked his entire dinner after having it. I just talked to the lady again (and apologised!) and she's going over to make sure the owners have my number now. She gave it to the maid before but as yet they haven't called.

I've been trying to work out the logistics of an old boy in a one bed 2nd story flat when I work all the hours in a different Emirate! Good work DC! Sounds like the logistics of three big dogs, two cats and one baby in a Springs 4E! :D

I have the address (well, I was told it, I just need to remember the villa number). I might just dig out one of the camping canvases, just in case! I'm going to try to Tippex his address onto the inside of his collar in case he scarpers again. How much is a microchip?

I would ring her back and be nice to make sure she calls the owners lol or you might be stuck with finding him a home. I would strongly suggest (if the owners every show up) that they get him chipped and a tag on his collar with his address :)
