She has internet access which is wireless from our internet, i dont see what the issue is?? She is a part of our family and has been for the last 2 years, she is amazing, looks after us well and takes extremely good care of my DS, if it were not for her i would not be able to go to work, have a gleaming home and a happy DS, why would she not have small luxuries, she is here away from her own family and friends to look after mine, which i am thankful for everyday, the internet is the only reasonable way she can keep in touch with back home, no she does not earn a huge salary standard Filipino maid salary, yes she gets 2 days off a week, 1 flight home a year, internet access, food, electricity a nice room and other things as and when she requires them....the alternative is i treat her like a slave and end up like other posters on here where everything has gone drastically wrong, she absconds, hurts my DS, steals etc etc... so i am happy with the way we treat her, each to their own but my way works, :) By the way the scammer has well and truly been seen off i soke to him on messenger and gave him what for Lol :)

The actual content of this thread aside .... I have to say the amount of maid stories I read on here keep my entertained & amused for hours on end!! To the point where I wonder whether there shouldnt be a stand alone maid board along with foodies, babes n bumps etc etc. Sorry don't mean to be glib but honestly you lot keep me in hours of giggles (I don't have a maid so can't empathise entirely). xxx <em>edited by Loopy Lotti on 06/01/2011</em>

Maybe it IS Nick Clegg sorting out a change of career ....... Am a Brit, fairly well educated and keep somewhat abreast of currently affairs but have no idea what Nick Clegg looks like (could probably recognise the face) but a lowly paid Asian worker would have NO idea.......
