I live in The Villa and last week and yesterday, have had messages written in the dust on my vehicle ... last week it was 'Love you Pinky', yesterday was 'I love you'.

Worried me a bit ...

(BTW - definitely not husband playing a prank).

Both times the vehicle was parked in the carport ... guess I'll be keeping them ultra clean from now on.

Anyone else had this?

Thing is cars are usually clean, it's just with this cr8ppy weather we've had the last week or so, they've got a bit dusty. Have mentioned it to security now, who noted it down in his book, [b'>and is going to keep an eye out[/b'>. Or stop writing messages on your car LOL!

I had written on my car back in UK " I WISH MY WIFE WAS THIS DIRTY!" Thought it was very funny! Take it with a pinch of salt, probably kids!

Thanks for replies ladies ... yes, do find it creepy - when i looked in the rear view mirror yesterday and saw the latest one on the back window, it made me shudder. Will tell security, and talk with neighbours ... thing is I haven't seen many (any!) kids playing around who would do it (most under 4!).

Hmm, well you see, I think 'Pinky' is the term Asian men use for fair skinned people (which I am ... very) :( Yes that crossed my mind also. But saying that I don't think its anything sinister - probably kids just playing around.

That's a bit creepy isn't it. I would report it to security but also follow it up with Dubai Asset Management (I think it is them who are responsible here). Make it clear that you expect Security to be making sure who they are letting through the gate (we have seen some very dubious looking people slowly driving around) and that a reminder to people working here that this will not be tolerated. Maybe, worth asking your neighbours (if you have any yet) if they have seen anyone hanging around. Difficult not to think too much about it, but try not to let it worry you too much...

Why don't you ask security to keep an eye out? Or maybe it's one of them? I have found mobile numbers on my car and nonsense messages, I never thought twice about it. Are there any other signs of someone harassing or stalking you?

Unless your name is Pinky, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
