Has anyone tried these here? Does it help in the summer?
I know they were FANTASTIC for warding off heat in the summer in Syria but the climate there is very dry so it made sense that adding water to the air would whisk away heat. And they really did. It could get quite chilly with them (at night) even in the middle of summer. Here, I'm not so sure.
If they do work, can anyone tell me where to find one?
Thanks.

There's a shop called Mistcool on what I call Flagpole Road (real name Diyafa Road, Satwa, just off Trade Centre Roundabout) that sells them. He's mainly trade but would be happy to sell individual small medium or large units to anyone!! If you don't mind becoming a little damp (who isnt in the summer here!!) then I'd highly recommend getting one!! HTH x

Thank you. Yeah, don't think normal fans will quite cut it for me! The misting ones are brilliant if they work so if they do work here, I'll go for one of those!
