I tried to find a Dr here that sperates them but could not. I thought 18 months was the MMR?! I think of course it is the parents choice but I would not feel comfortable sending my child to school with unvaccinated children. Especially where we live with so many nationalities and all walks of life coming in and out of Dubai. are you worried about Thermosil? they no longer have that in the MMR. I just feel the reprecussions for not vaccinating are worse. just dont bring your child to get the shot while they seem ill.

Just vaccinate by dithering you are putting your child at more risk. And u are basing your doom and gloom on what exactly? Unvaccinated children are at more risk than vaccinated children of contracting childhood diseases and lowering herd immunity. load of rubbish. blah blah anyway all vaccinations are required by the ministry of health here for school attendance

Sant, the monovalent measles vaccine used to be available in Dubai. Try contacting the American Hospital. xx

May I know when did you give it to LO? I'm loosing my mind by reading about side effect of that.. What side effect? If you are referring to the supposed link between MMR and autism, it's not true and never was. True...there is a link to the article that proved that the scientist involved falsified information in his study. A link on EW I meant. edited by GoddessUli on 17/01/2011

We do all vaccines as they are needed, plus some since the requirements of the US and the UAE are different. That said, We opt to vaccinate our kids for their benefit...I'd much rather deal with temporary fevers etc..then another long term or potentially fatal illness.

my kids at 13 months. Just do it. Why are you scared? More children have suffered through catching these diseases than any from the vaccine (has that been proven yet? don't think so)
