OMG I love that place! they make it so special every time we go and the food is out of this world. REFLETS PAR PIERRE GAGNAIRE! For a Romantic meal that's worth every dirham! Food was excellent, as DH and I went there last week. Service amazing and very private. Nice private booth seating area and an outside terrace overlooking the Marina/Creek. With wine (4 glasses is all we could manage) the bill came up to 1200dhs. Perfect place and not overrated or hyped up. http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/intercontinental/en/gb/locations/hotel-features/dining/restaurants/dubai-festivalcity

We went to Pier Chic at Al Qasr for my birthday in December and it was vey romantic and special. It's located at the end of a wooden pier - you can arrive by golf cart or walk from the hotel - and has amazing views of either Burj Al Arab if you have a table on the deck at the back or the whole of Al Qasr and Madinat Jumeirah if you have a table at the front. It's primarily a fish restaurant by the way....

Majlis Al Bahar at the Burj Al Arab is amazing if you go for the 'romantic' package down on the beach! DH took me there last valentines, think it comes to about AED2,000 including wine - well worth it though!

There's a restaurant called Shimmers I think that may be the same concept! Shimmers is a lovely location but the menu has changed and it's very ordinary - I wouldn't say that romantic - great location with the palm trees all lit up but not for something special. I don't think you can beat the majlis al bahar at the Burj Al Arab when they lay out the tables on the beach - it's very romantic and that best view ever of the Burj AA and not too OTT price wise if it's a very special occasion! http://www.jumeirah.com/en/Hotels-and-Resorts/Destinations/Dubai/Burj-Al-Arab/Restaurants-And-Nightlife/Majlis-Al-Bahar/

There's a restaurant called Shimmers I think that may be the same concept! The one clairek is talking about is I think jumeriah beach hotels. Search there website .it's wine and dine under the stars. And if you want think I have got a coupon in gulf news book for that. I think the price is around 2500 Oh it's jebel Ali golf resort and spa.dinner at private beach with your own waiter and in gulf news there is a coupon valid for 25% discount on food and non alcoholic beverages.it's stated that it's a set 4 course menu for 1600 with house beverages and soft drink. edited by manubhadauria on 13/01/2011

Heh heh! He didn't luckily. A while ago...DH arranged it through Blue Banana (now closed) at The Jumeirah Beach Club Resort (also closed I think). Do some googling though as I'm sure other places do it as well.

Gosh...you are so spoilt for choice in this place and I'm a little (no, make that a lot!) out of touch since the arrival of my DD. Went ages ago, but I loved the Beach Bar & Grill @ The One and Only Royal Mirage. Get a table on the terrace though (so keep an eye on the weather report) and try get there to see the sunset. I also enjoyed Bateaux Dubai. Not sure of your budget, but my best by far was when my DH arranged a private dinner on one of the hotel beaches, complete with music and our own waiter. Huge kudos! :) Enjoy. ohhhhhh which beach was this private dinner at? That sounds amazing! But does the waiter lurk around you? I hate when they do that lol

I know it implies that I know where that is BUT I am actually looking for one! What do you think is the most romantic place to go in Dubai?
