The second hotel manubhadauria mentioned is the Khasab Hotel, and yes, I would definitely recommend the Khasab Beach Hotel & Resort (Golden Tulip). Gorgeous up there, went out on a dhow, swimming with dolphins in a quite secluded khor...

in musandam there are only 2 hotels. one is golden tulip resort which is good other i dont remember (it was rather gloomy and depressed that i remember :) ) normally we go there for a long drive then returns back by night or there are some beautiful sights and you can go for camping too. barbeque is really fun there. but do carry everything as you might not find anything nearby.
