Hello, I have seen a few people with their names in Arabic on necklaces. Does anybody know where you can have these made? Thanks.

You can definitely get them done in the Gold and Diamond Park. Not sure of cost for gold, but silver were around AED 80-100 last Christmas. Cara and Mamiya do them, but probably any of them will.

i just had some done here in AD, was 150dh for one in sterling silver, and had one done in 18k gold, would have cost 800 for 4 grams (the weight of the gold), but chose a heavier chain and 'name' so paid 1250 for 6 grams. Both lovely. I think last year I paid 100 for one in silver from Cara jeweller in Dubai.

I had one done for myself and my daughter at the stand at Mercato-both have our own and husband's names entwined-daughter's was tear-drop shaped and mine a heart. Most jewellers do them too-but we were impressed by the calligraphy there-BH is Arabic so he was fussy about that aspect!

I had one made for my daughter from a stand at Ibn Battuta. It is excellent quality and they were very helpful.

There's a stand in Ibn Battuta where you can get them done, and also a place at the Gold and Diamond Park. I think G&DP is cheaper.
