I have a lady coming over on saturday to do my hair, she is well know in Dubai and apparently really good. I will let you know how it goes, and I also hear she doesnt charge the earth either.

I recommend Sam (Issam) who works at the Hair Shop – Trade centre apartments. He is really good with my hair and I wouldn’t trust anyone else in Dubai. Charges are reasonable too AED 120 for a wet cut!

I would say recommend the Raffi salon in Radisson Blu Media City. Or Le Salon in Dubai Marine hotel Senorita do you have someone specific you can recommend there. I'm looking for a new place for a cut and blow dry. I have long thick brown hair and want them much shorter now that it gets so hot. It's quite a big change and I want to make sure I get a good stylist (if at all possible!!!) edited by oreo on 15/03/2011

thank you Ladie for your help, I found one salon near my daughters school yesterday, its called Essensial, staff there were very friendly and managed to give us appointment on the same day, my daughter and me both had a nice hair cut + I got a full body St Tropez tan..it was a bit brave of me..but was a nice valenntine's treat :)

Juan at JLT. I second that suggestions - had a great cut and colour done there last week - very happy with it.
