Hello, my name is Elaine and my husband and I recently moved over to Dubai with his job. We hail from the West of Scotland and have now set up home in JBR. My hobbies include walking, gym and golf which I love but it can prove very challenging. I was advised to join expat woman by Lesley who we met when we joined Jumeirah Golf Club. Hi! My name is Morvarid (Let's shorten it to MJ though since it's a mouthful) and I'm from Iran. I've been living in the UAE all my life (28 years - Never actually been to my home country). I lived in Sharjah for 27 years of that and just recently shifted to Dubai. I've basically been an expat my entire life. I have way too many hobbies and interests some of which include: painting, cosplay, reading, and crafting various DIY things.
