Hi everyone My name is Zsófi. Me and my husband moved from Zürich to Dubai not long ago. We found out in Dubai that i am pregnant :) we are both extremly happy. ...although we are looking forward to have a baby, it does complicate the situation! My husband works in Dubai. I wanted to go to work aswell, but being pregnant we decided against it. Not going to work makes it harder to integrate and to find my way. We live on the Palm. It is beautiful here... All i am missing is some company and friends to spend time with. Maybe some of you are in the same situation? All tips are welcome!

Hi May name is Christa, we have just moved to Doha, Qatar because of my husbands work, we have been expats for 10yrs and this is our 3rd posting. I found the page through a random search online. We love traveling off the beaten track during our time off. I love making New long term friends, stitching, crosswords, planting, watching movies, listening to music & just catching up over coffee or a meal. For the last 10yrs I've been doing volunteer charity work everywhere I've lived and I'm wondering if it's too late to get back into the work force now.
