I thought I could get away with not doing pancakes today but then the kids were talking about the pancake races at school and came running in to ask when their pancakes would be ready.....so.......flour, eggs and milk and a couple of fresh lemons and chocolate sauce later - we have done pancake day! Did you??

Just about to ... with lemon/sugar [DH's fave'>. I'm more of a crepes suzette girl, but hey-ho, with DH down the mines all day, it deserves to be his choice tonight. :) Now why is that a surprise? Oh no you can;t just be a normal pancake woman like everyone else, you have to go up a level to a Miss Suzette! LOL

i did....made it right then spilt hot batter on my hand while i tended to that the plastic spatula melted on the gas ring sending nice smell of burn through house...so left with a huge blister which is probably going to scar me for life....oh will remind me of my first pancake day in dubai:)
