Hi ladies,

Has anyone had experience in arranging new house rental + DEWA, Ejari when you got a job offer but still didn't have your Residence visa/Emirates ID.

We have 2 weeks before move in, paid the rent and deposit for the flat already but the company HR said this week they have applied for my Employment visa and only after for a Residence visa.

Would it be enough to go get the letter from the company stating my visa is in process for DEWA, Ejari and Emaar permit? Just wish things were easier here.

[quote=Haim]You'll find it really difficult as you need copies of your Emirates ID and residency visa to secure all utilities here... The EID generally comes quicker than your passport, so it could...
Hi, I know this is years on but how did this work out for you?

Normally so long as you have the paper that says your EID has been applied for, that's enough.

Your HR should know, I know of instances when Dewa has been connected without Emirates ID, the company you work for has to write a letter or something or speak with Dewa at Al Manara what's required. Ejari you can wait with until everything is in place.

You'll find it really difficult as you need copies of your Emirates ID and residency visa to secure all utilities here... The EID generally comes quicker than your passport, so it could be enough to provide your EID first, and then inform then your visa is in the process? Thanks! I will try my luck with letter anyway and worst case wait for Emirates ID..
