Sorry, cruise addict, you may already be too late ...

Oh no
Thank you for the link!
Mango Tree is closing as well, although I wasn't really a fan, it also had great fountain view.
Do you think they aren't getting much business as I have found recently most of the expensive restaurants are really quiet
I think they offered something new and funky a few years ago, but wasn't really keeping up with the trends and I found the drink prices at Rivington way too high. Mango Tree was a bit hit and miss and with Thipthara at the Palace Hotel offering that little bit more for Thai dining with view.
Yes, I think main reason for closing is that they were too expensive for what they offered.
The Armani Hotel has great restaurants and aren't really that much more.
And there are lots of reasonable restaurants in Dubai Mall with fountain view.
I found the Rivington staff quite arrogant as well...
I wonder if the Meat Co in Souk Al Bahar is next to go. The view isn't really there and it's overpriced, at least the Madinat location has a better view and the restaurant itself also feels nicer.

Where have you been for the last few weeks it's been talked about all over. Rumour has it The Ivy are closing this year too :(
Out of DXB, oh no real shame. Especially miss the Madinet branch. Always had a good meal in there. Wonder if the likes of The Scene at Pier 7 has attracted a lot of their custom.
To be honest only been to the SAB twice and not a huge fan of the staff tbh.
