So it's my birthday tomorrow and I fancy brunch. Been in Dubai for nearly 4 years and never been to one before!! I don't really drink so no need for one with champagne and all that. Also, I'm 44, so I guess Yalumba isn't for me. Any suggestions please?

Thats true - think they are building a hotel? If the weather's like today it's a shame ti be inside - but inside is nice too. Luddite - I went to Mezzanine last night and it was brilliant. They do 1-4pm (not brunch) tomorrow - if it's a birthday treat?

The trouble with Cellar is that it's currently a building site.. Agree about the food, though, Shelly, it's delish and good value. Eggs florentine - yumm - South African Breakfast - yumm - haddock yumm.. Lots more yummmy!

Lol cheeky mare..... I love my food as much as I love my wine ;-) but get sensory overload at all the choices! Cellar is about 6 starters, 12 mains, 6 puds - I can cope with that!

Cellar is lovely - all made a la carte from the menu so not strictly "brunch" as such - but personally I don't like seeing mountains of food - puts me off! Its about 130 for 1 glass and all food or 200 for drinks and food.

I really enjoyed Latitude today, food and setting was lovely, though not quite close enough to the sea for me!
