He got a call last night to say he had to be at a meeting in AD this morning at 8.30!!!! Making me and the kids a full fry up for breakfast as so disgusted! Luckily we are going camiping neat Al Dhaid so not too far to drive when he eventually gets home!

Happy for Mrs & Mr Freckles .... worth the wait, but so annoying whilst waiting eh!! I was finally told this morning that we 'officially' have tmrw off ..... and I also have Sun off ....(not public hol - a small thing going up in AD that lasts all next week). They dont want us minions around on opening day. H*ll am I complaining??? Bring on a 4 day weekend!!! Shame my DH IS working ALL weekend :-( and sympathy to others who havent been given any time off :-(

Just asked HR if tomorrow is off for us, and the answer was NO.....fantastic news :-( If its announced as public holiday are companies not obliged to participate? On holidays as such , companies would be fined if they don't participate. Its a public holiday , eveyone must be off ....

Oh, and just to add, husbad works from home, has been away for work since last Friday, is returning tomorrow when he will definitely work at home all day, will doubtless work all day Fri and Sat and then leave again on business on Sunday. Days off? You want days off? I speeeet on your days off and I give you no holidays :)

My DH isn't off :( His company policy is that only employees on local contracts get public holidays - yuck! DD still sound asleep in bed and DH very kindly ensured I was awake before he headed off to work. Grrr...!!
