It's always really strange when we make any change to our face.... we can't get used to it. That's why i always make sure i have two.;)

It's always really strange when we make any change to our face.... we can't get used to it. That's why most people who get nose jobs usually have more than one... (unless the nose was realllly ugly in the first place) ... the nose job isn't probably that bad, but they can't get used to such a dramatic change on their face.

I have blonde eyebrows and either tint them or use powder. I've had several too dark tints where I come out looking like Charlie Chaplin. The good news, like the ladies said, it doesn't last that long and the 'gooder' news is that in a few days, you'll love them (hopefully...let us know) the bad news...you look like charlie chaplin for a few days. back to the good news...nobody else will notice, no matter how bad you think they are

The thing is, I was never intending to do anything except get them threaded. It never occurred to me that anyone would find my few grey eyebrows offensive, but the lady really looked shocked that I looked shocked at her suggestion of dyeing them. Before I knew it, my eyebrows were stinging.

I like the MAC brow pencils, they're great. Bodyshop also do great powders for brows.

Clinique used to do this thing for eyebrows, it's like a gel that you paint on, then you pop the powder on the top - gives great definition without being permanent....

a hooooower is what it is. Yes, orange could be really bad. True, I may get used to them in a few days, who knows, I may want a repeat in 6 weeks...hahaahaa

Always a dodgy thing to do if you have light eye brows, you onyl need the dye on for a few seconds for it to take. Can you not get that stuff that strips out hair dye?

I think it does make a big 'change' to your appearance even if it only seems like a small procedure...and not necessarily a bad one! You're probably just not used to it - maybe give it a few days and see how you feel? I'm sure you could get them lightened though you don't want them turning orange from the bleach...

whats a 'hooooooower' ? personally, i don't think dyeing your eyebrows is a good idea unless your hair is dark. i think people with light hair and dark eyebrows look really really really wacky. eyebrows should be the color between your darkest hair color and your *natural* highlights.

Oh ok....head & shoulders it is then. Now it is all a mess....DH says they look nice. A friend also said I look younger. I may have to take back the bad words I said about the threading lady.......:( I don't like saying sorry.... I must be blind if others think they look good

Use Head and Shoulders - it's stronger and should strip the colour quicker. This is what I was told anyway when I dyed my hair blue/black as a misguided 17 year old :)

It is what it is A) Hysterical? LOL B) Couldn't have happened to a nicer person? C) Revenge of past maids? D) What happens when you try to retain once youthful looks? E) Break your rule of trusting numpties?

should dye them. she convinced me they would be light light brown, but they are not and now I look like a hooooooower That last word has to make me ask if you are Scottish? There's just something about the way you managed to make it sound.

It gets lighter fairly quickly if that helps! Some alcohol on a cotton bud or tip should lighten it also I think.

I doubt it if she meant to do you harm or make you look bad on purpose. No need for the name calling.

Try putting shampoo on a cotton ball, massaging it in, rinsing and repeating until you are happy with the colour. Been there myself...
