I know I came home reeling about it the other day to my DH. Outrageous is exactly the word. However, I [i'>think[/i'> it's still cheaper (by only a little bit now) than buying coca cola at home (UK). Can you imagine if other things just went up by 50%. Madness! There had not been an increase in price for something like 20 years. I bet we wouldn't find that in many of our home countries either :) How much is a can of coke in the UK?

I think its a good thing.. That junk was way too cheap, make it less appealing ;) Even with the price hike, its cheaper then in my home country.

It is a big increase but really they are only Dhs1.50 a can.... not much really! And soft drinks should actually be more expensive than water... I feel.

Maybe they are trying to slow down kids having so much sugar!
