I also ordered before and opted for Cash on Delivery - i didn't hear anything for a week so I called the number on the website. Gave them my order number and told there was a system issue and that I would get a call back......nothing materialised and I never heard from them since. So not the best online experience from my side....I wonder if I would have had more success if I paid upfront?

I've ordered twice from Souk and both times selected cash on delivery. Both times I received a messge saying the order was out for delivery and then heard nothing else, I didn't receive a call from the courier, or email anything further at all. I didn't have time or the inclination to chase up the order so ended up ordering what I wanted from elsewhere.

As others said it depends on what your order.The seller usually specifies how long it will take. My friend ordered a Vitamix and it was with her the next day but it was sold from the UAE. 2-5 days seems too short from the USA. I ordered from the USA and it took took more than a week but it really depends. I know some sellers from the USA say 10-14 days.

I got an email and sms with delivery details too. They had a number to call if you wanted to change delivery time. My parcel arrived at 1.45 (in the first hour of the slot) so I didn't have to wait in all afternoon -HURRAH! :)

I ordered a Nutribullet yesterday afternoon from Souq.com. Said 3 days for delivery but it is currently with the courier and should be delivered between 1 and 5pm today.

Thanks :) :) It depends on if the item is avaiable locally or shipped over from the US, and also depends on the stated shipping time the seller has advertised for processing the order. It varies from seller to seller. And its not delivered by post. Souq sellers use Aramex. <em>edited by chezmoi on 01/02/2015</em>
