Nad Al Sheba vets is your best bet ... they are sympathetic and helpful :) I suspect they'd be cheaper than ABVC. This is their website with directions www.nadvethosp.com .

I have been going to Deira Veterinary clinic to see Dr Azziz with all the strays that seem to turn up on my doorstep. He has a big heart and has been charging me less than dhs100 to see the cats. Might want to try him...

I recently acquired a little kitten with an eye infection, first visit cost 500AED second 125AED... Where do you live? If you're near Al Barsha, ABVC is good and they give a 25% discount if you let them know that you're bringing in a stray...

We seem to have acquired a little kitten in our compound who has a poorly leg. Can you recommend a good vet and do you have any clue how much a check up and treatment might cost. TIA
