I need some advice and quick we are due to fly off skiing on Friday flying ot munch and staying in Westendorf but the weather in Austria is so warm it has melted most of the snow on ski slopes. However we do have the option of canceling the hotel and trying to find some where else that does have snow.

As we have only been to this area twice and no where else we don't know where to start looking can anyone recommend any resort that they have been to or know of we can change the destination of the flights as well if that help.

Please any information at all to help us come to a decision and fast one. We are so disappointed have not managed to go for 3 years so was very excited but now very stressed!!!

Check Tignes.net (most of prices are incl. skipass). The area is Espace Killy, and be prepared for a lot of snow. If you have further questions, let me know.................. I envy you, i'll have to wait six more weeks...............

That's such a shame as Westendorf if such a great place and beautiful! If looking at France, another favourite of ours has always been Alpe D'Huez and we found some very reasonable self-catering apartments there. Hope you find somewhere!

Have been to Obergurgl/Hochgurgl in the Oetztal (Tirol) many times. It's high altitude garantees snow up till March/April. Easy access from Munich/Innsbruck, super slopes, Hotel Hochgurgl, Hotel Obergurgl are beautiful hotels. Wished I was there...

We've always enjoyed great snow in Flaine, fly into Geneva. The Montsoleil apartments are lovely and it is a true ski in and out :) Not pretty like some places but the skiing is excellent. edited by emlsnre on 16/01/2011
