Has anyone been watching the remake of V? And if you watched the original way back when, do you think it's better or as good but different?

I have been watching the remake - and love it, think that it's just as good as the original (which i loved) but think that they have done a fab job of changing up enough for it still to be interesting and am unsure of what's going to happen....

Just waiting for a DVD with series 2 to get to me :) umm - not sure how the DVD is out of series 2, only up to episode 3 in the states at the moment. As in my friend downloads them an rips them to DVD for me. why not download them from here? He does! My internet is too rubbish for downloading so he does it for me :)

yes - i download fine from Dubai - i have an 8GB connection which works fine - still takes an hour or so to download an episode, sometimes quicker sometimes slower but that depends on how many seedersrs. I also have a v p n - that i use to watch UK telly online (i find that my shockingly bad laptop over heats and shuts down if i try and watch US telly on line - no idea why). My v p n costs about £7 a month. I will email you the details if you like. To add - i dont have a UAE TV subscription and find that downloading and watching online does me just fine.

Nope ... I'm sad too. Quick question for you please, if you don't mind: We're on holiday here in Dubai now, but live in London (as per my intro post). At home, we download a lot of things off the net, but assumed that that would have to stop once we move to Dubai later on this year. Where do you live? Are you downloading from Dubai? And is it OK then?
