Hi does anyone know if I would be able to volunteer in an orphanage in Dubai? I know it's a "closed subject" and not easy to find any info... Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks....

Not an orphanage but also very worthwhile, Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs in Barsha do have a volunteer programme you can join.

I had a friend who used to volunteer at the Al Wasl hospital..they have a section for abandoned babies and toddlers i think. They also need help to care/play with children who have cancer. My friend did this for a while but found it emotionally overwhelming for her as some of her 'kids' died and it was very hard. Give them a ring though and see what you can do and Kudos for such a lovely thought!
