My mom is coming to Dubai on Thursday and will be staying with me for few weeks. She has been to Dubai so many times that she has seen everything Dubai has to offer. She means the world to me and I realty want to do something especial for her .Any inexpensive suggestions? (If it is expensive she would not accept it )
She is 53, Iranian , and she loves good food if it is served in a nice and cozy restaurant.

i took my mum to the sheikh zayed mosque in abu dhabi (breathtaking!) followed by afternoon tea in emirates palace. she was thrilled. This is one place she has not seen . Does she have to wear scarf to get it ?Could actually be a great idea, not sure if she has been to Abu Dhabi before ....

I sit my mum on the balcony give her a drink and her cigarettes, check on her often to make sure she hasnt over heated, feed her sometimes and throw her into bed at night. She's happy. lol

Coffee and a pastry in a fancy hotel is something my mom enjoys when she visits. It's not over the top price wise (compared to other things here!) but makes her feel very pampered. Her fave place was just outside the lobby at Mina Al Salaam. You sit outside overlooking the man-made waterway and out to the ocean. That sounds like something my mom would enjoy too. Do you know the name of the Cafe'?

mine has seen everything as well, so each day I have made a list of different things we can go and do ie pedicure, body massage, picnic in the park, coffee/cake, movie.. the time seems to be ticking along nicely

Why not pamper your mom in the salon? My mom is 67 and she loves it when my sister or I take her to a nice salon for a nice hair treatment, a body massage, pedicure manicure etc. It's not something that she used to...so she loves it.
