I love Clinique's Even Better Makeup SPF 15. It is moderate, build-able coverage with a luminous finish. With continuous use it helps get rid of sun spots and even out skin tone. It feels light when you wear it, but it last all day. :)
Bare Escentuals mineral makeup
Ditto. Adore it.
Used to use Chanel Vitalumiere but switched to Bare Escentuals last year, and it's proven a fantastic coverage in the Dubai humidity. Even when it feels like you're dripping like mad [!!'> the make-up stays perfect; it glows.
I would advise going for the whole kit though; the base gel, then the powders and then the bare minerals 'top coat'. Makes for a longer-lasting look.
ETA: The gel to use before applying the powders is called Prime Time, and the 'Illuminating Veil' is what I use to finish off. Looks gorgeous, a tiny bit sparkly, but not like you're about to hit a dance floor. :D

Can I ask if mineral powders make your skin look at all dull or dryor too matt? I never use powder as I find even the superfine ones with added ingredients to make your skin glow just make my complexion look too matt or dull (compared with just using foundation alone). I have heard a lot about mineral make up but the fact that it is powder puts me off.
Thanks for the pointer to Bare Escentuals, all. A foundation which glows, rather than me "glowing" - yes, definitely, sounds good to me! Is there sun protection in it as well?
SPF 15 for the foundation. ;)
Get a 'make under' done (as they call it), at Sephora and try it before you buy. See if YOU like it first.

AGREE!!! :) LOVE IT!!!!
I don't think I'll ever go back to using Liquid foundation on my face again. I used liquid for almost 15 years, before this popped up on the shelves. Best invention ever.
This has done wonders for my skin. I've noticed the difference.
I barely wash it off at night, get too lazy, and I still don't get ANY breakouts whatsoever by doing that.

Looks gorgeous, a tiny bit sparkly,
The Edward Cullen in sunshine look then?
Er ... not quite!
It's a subdued sparkle; not Edward's 'diamond daze' look! :D

Bobbi Brown is excellent. I have just switched to their luminous foundation which gives a nice coverage and glow. I used to use their longer lasting one and for a night out would often mix with benefit moon beam (yellow pearly sheen) for a lovely glow. Always got positive comments when I did that!
For the make up lovers, which is the best foundation that you have found? I have tried lots of different ones over the years but yet to find the best one! I am looking for something that gives good coverage and luminescent/pearlescent (sp) finish. Would love to hear of any good ones.
