There's an area with lots of furniture shops in Sharjah next to Al Falah Plaza on Wahda Street (a bit set back from the road) where you could find those.

We got one from Ikea a while ago which has storage areas below. Quite useful due to lack of storage in maid room

She has a room too small to actually fit a single bed? Many of the maid rooms are too small for a standard single bed - sad but true

We got our maid a futon so during the day it's more of a couch and at night it's a large bed.

I second Satwa and they would rather have a small bed so they have more storage room. I had a double bed for mine and she asked for a smaller one, same with the new girl. they seem to prefer small beds and have the rest of the area for tv, drawers, etc

Satwa! Plenty of shops selling maids room supplies specifically.

She has a room too small to actually fit a single bed? The ones I have seen are so tiny, I'm embarrassed they are called rooms! All my closets back home were bigger than that...even my pantry! But some like it cozy ;). well, my "maid's room" doesn't even have a window... and the only wall you could consider putting a bed against has got a bend in it halfway along. If I'd designed that room for habitation, I would be embarrassed and as an occupant, I wouldn't even house a pet in it. But it does have an ensuite bathroom, so that's OK.

jwal, what size is the room? If you're thinking about space, and want her to have a bit of room to put things, then you may want to consider the bunk beds from Ikea which have the bed on the top and some room underneath.

Hyper panda and carefour make beds to size.... just go in and speak to the guy by the matresses and give him the size you want.

I am looking for a small single bed to fit in maids room, I want a new one just need to know what shop to get it from, any ideas? I don't think an actual single size one would fit. Is there a really comfy alternative?
