HelloLadies,
We are planning a move to Ajman from Ireland. I am wondering what compounds are good to live with children in Ajman. My kids are used to playing with kids in the neighbourhood and I am worried that they will be lonely if we rent a villa outside a compound.
Regards,
Banu

Thanks Girls. RAK is too far for us as we need access to the airport. Work will be based in Ajman. I will look into Mushrief Ummsofia. Thanks. Do you live in Ajman yourself? @brbiyer I did for a while. Personally I thought that Mushrief was the best area. It's mainly a local area, but there are two lovely parks and a walking track. It peaceful and you would think that you are in Jumeirah. Some parts of Jurf are also nice but the prices have doubled in some areas in the last few years. Please be aware that this is one of the few Emirates where you have to pay the annual sewage in advance. There are some other areas on the border of Ajman/Sharjah with beautiful huge villas called Rahmania. You are more likely to find better deals for property rental in the Arabic papers or in places like http://ae.waseet.net/en/site/ajman/index/ Good luck!

Thanks. Is the Arabic difficult to catch up on for the 11 year old?

There are beautiful villas in the Mushrief area although not in compounds and the prices are often less than a 2 bedroom flat in Dubai.
