Im a 1st timer and need to buy some maternity wear very soon. Any suggestions as to where does nice stuff (work and casual) that does not cost an arm and a leg please?
As the DSS starts soon, I though maybe could check out the mat wear during the sales...
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Max has a maternity section, you can find some very decently priced maternity clothes there. They have lots of stores around Dubai, I went to Oasis Center. Personally, I prefer getting dresses like some other posters here have said. I got some nice ones from Jennyfer the other day, 125 dhs each.

not the maternity but i found some nice dresses in "evans" in mirdiff city centre in plus size. (they can fit and would still feel comfy on non-plus size i guess) also there is some good stuff in destination maternity there only.

Hi I’m currently 28 weeks and all of my maternity stuff has come from H&M or New Look in Inb batutta mall or marina mall. I find it the best value for money Last weekend H&M had buy 2 items get 1 free on everything in the whole shop I’ve always used my Grazia card - (http://www.ahlanlive.com/grazia/insider/ ) in New Look you save 20% in so many shops I would recommend everybody gets one!! This is my 2nd pregnancy and I wasted so much money the first time round on maternity clothes, this time I’ve only bought maternity trousers all my tops and dresses have been regular items just in bigger sizes. Happy shopping :-)

I looked around alot and didnt find anything I liked in any stores. In the end I bought lots of maxi dresses online with smoking which meant they were perfect for a growing bump!

I've heard H&M is really great and also the new shop in Marina Mall (Destination Maternity I think) is where a lady I work with has got some lovely stuff from. You will look gorgeous whatever Dallydoo ;)

Mothercare, Premaman, Destination Maternity, Mamas & Papas and even Bumble bee. Just check the top floor of Dubai Mall (over ice rink) - all stores are near each other. H&M carries the maternity range as well. Next did too, but not sure about now. <em>edited by dramaqn on 14/06/2012</em>

I bought most of my maternity gear in Destination Maternity here & Mamas & Papas back in the UK Don't know if either of them will have sale on but definitely the quality of Mamas & Papas has been great, worth the money IMO HTH
