Wohooo 8 weeks left!! Hugsys, hope u dont mind me mentioning here?! Just read about panic attacks in other thread and hope you are feeling better this week. I am glad u r having scheduled cs, you will be more relaxed and prepared. Please discuss and insist on pain control with dr post cs. I wish i was prepared when i had cs, and pain was terrible with only 1 or 2 days ( cant remember if it was 2 days) injection pain killers.

anyone else nervous about impending due date??? Not yet! Can't wait to see my lo! Congrats dannimac! 31w update: feeling good, my issue is only the heat. Need AC all the times.. Lots of BH's How is everyone doing? Are you done with shopping? I gave away all the things and had to buy again. Only car seat, baby carrier nd baby monitor pending, all others are done. Except outfits we don't know the gender, got neutral ones. edited by Flower33 on 09/06/2012 edited by Flower33 on 09/06/2012

Congrats dannimac and desertrose! I'm glad you've had a good experience at Al Wasl desertrose. A year ago I was really ill and was taken there by ambulance. I was treated so poorly I'd rather give birth at home (if it were allowed) than go there. I know many people who have had a good experience with Al Wasl so it may just have been my bad luck! Dannimac your due just 4 days after my c-section! Its sweet that your keeping the gender a surprise especially with your first! I was way too impatient to wait! How is City Hospital? I will definitely be delivering at City or American next time.

Hi ladies, Congratulations to all the mummys, I'm another mummy due in August! on the 30th InshaAllah. Having another boy, already have a two year old. I had my 1st one at Al Wasl, good experience so have registered with them again, as they say 'The better the devil you know'. Will also go and register at American hospital this week, and will decide nearer the time which one to go with for the actual delivery. Stay happy and healthy!

Charlieb I may try the Fetal Medical Centre but then I think I'm so close to my c section now I may as well just wait to see the little fella eshp since he is far from cooperative during usual scans! Pilatesmama try cold hand on the belly while lying on your left or on your back and also try drinking very cold water or something sweet. That usually works for me. I just want the next 11 weeks to hurry up and pass now!

Hugsys my doc is in healthbay but devlievs at City so haven't been to visit the hospital yet as all my apts are at the clinic. They've just started public 'drop in' visits on Fridays tho so i am thinking of heading to one of them this weekend. Our doc does his own 3d scans so can't help on where to go i'm afraid. Only place I know is the Fetal Medical Centre but I believe they are quite pricey :( which doc are you with? Can they give any recommendations if they can't offer you one? Maybe do a search on here, it might give you some suggestions.......and yep, my bump seems to have ballooned in the past two weeks. I can still see and reach my toes though so that's something haha....although not for much longer at this rate. Pilatesmama, my bubs definitely has days where she's really really active and then others that are quieter. Have always felt something at some point in the day for the last 2 months or so though so would definitely call your doc if you are worried, if nothing else they will be able to put your mind at ease!

Hi charlieb! :) Thank u for ur kind words! congrats on pink team, shopping is much fun with girls! Everytime i shop for my boys sometimes i pass by girls section, so many cute things to choose from. Awww.... Pilatesmama, Welcome and alf mabrook!!! Try eating food or drinking cold juice if u r concerned with babys movement. With my first i used to b paranoid and used to b attentive, of course i had nothing else to do by then! :) mixer, chopper, juice extractors would always wake my baby from a deep sleep! (tried few times only). Hugsys :) i think dubai offers better medical care than abu dhabi, variety of clinics, hospitals, etc. Talking about huge bellies :) i gained a lot!

hi yummy mummies :) i am also due in august inshallah but around the 29th so officially 26 weeks and a few days. kindof a bit worried as baby was very active before but the last 2 days baby is not moving around as much as before. Is this normal or reason to call my doctor? Hey there, congrats on your pregnancy! I feel bubs also has his quiet days and would be more concerned if there was no movement at all but if your concerned contact your doc. Why not if it gives peace of mind its worth it.

Hi ladies :) Big wave back at Flower33.So sorry to hear about your scare but very glad the bed rest is helping! Hope you can continue getting lots of rest. Thinking of you and wishing you and bubs a safe and healthy last trimester.... So I'm 27 weeks now and due on the 28th August delivering at City. Great that there's an August thread now. Thanks for starting it Hugsys. It's our first baby as well, very exciting. Its a little girl for us so we're on team pink! Looking forward to connecting with some other August mums to be :) Hi CharlieB, welcome and ongrats on team pink! Were both basically at the same week of pregnancy. My belly is HUGE! How is City? I would like to have City or American for next baby I keep hearing great things about it. Will you be getting 3d scan? I'm trying to find somewhere cheap. Weve had alot going on recently so it will help cheer us up!

Lol! May b u also can't wait to have ur precious one, hence July! It's weird but I am always running ahead(mentally)! today at the drs i told I was 30w!!!! I am only 28w4d! I am sorry you are having so much pain, haven't heard about ur condition. Are u taking any meds? I agree with the bed rest, we need to keep cooking babies as much as we can :) I am considered high risk due to miscarriages prior my first baby. And lots of bleeding episodes in first trimester. Had a cerclage for incompetent cervix for all pgcies. Last week had a scare going per term labor, was on strict bed rest for a week. Thanks God, today dr said cervix is tight closed nd out of danger zone. I reside in abu dhabi. I know what you mean I seem to be moving one week ahead myself. I started this pg taking no medication at all then got this horrid pain and took everything under the sun (with docs permission of course) but nothing helps so I just rest as much as possible. I'm really sorry to hear about your m/c's they are so tough to deal with. Fantastic that your out of danger zone. I guess that bed rest is helping after all! Whats the medical facilities like in AD?
