Tara.k you should find the carseat mirror for rear facing baby in Mothercare. It's the same brand that Babyshop stocks - Sunshine Kids.

I went to Mirdif City Center yesterday to check out the Babyshop sale. Seems like almost all baby stores had great sales going on! I went a little crazy! Still looking for nice, soft baby bath towels. Of course Baby shop had a ton of them, but the styles were cheezy. Still need a carseat mirror for rear-facing baby- Babyshop was sold out. And the only place that i could find nursing tank tops was Mamas & Papas.

Tara K, take the stroller you bought back if you have the receipt and buy it again. Might be worth it if it was an expensive one? They are good at refunding for anything at babyshop.

Went to MOE last night and got lots of stuff - thanks so much for the heads up ladies on the sale. Got blankets, swaddles, some onesies etc and a really nice bassinet that we had been looking at last weekend - so glad we didnt buy it then. I was a little disappointed - we were looking out for 1 of three car seats and they didnt have any of the 3 and very few breast pumps too. But hey, its a good start! Will probably go back at the weekend too :) Thanks again!

Thanks for the sale tip!! Anyone buy a monitor that they would recomend from Babyshop? Video or regular? Unfortunately, my husband purchased a stroller on his own from Babyshop last weekend. :-/. Could have used the sale for that one! Just today we got a regular The First Years true choice baby monitor for 160 AEd, regular price 325 AED. We live in a apartment and were looking for a basic monitor.

I went to the one in Reef Mall, Deira, and I was surprised: its HUGE and they have alot of variety! I think the worst one is (surprisingly) the one in Dubai Mall, they never seem to have anything good there. totally agreed! My fav has always been Reef Mall.

I have subscribed to the babyshop updates on FB, but EWers are faster! LOL! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=436049926436495&set=a.180857025289121.34480.179265398781617&type=1&theater It says all Babyshops, including Centrepoint stores and in all the emirates. ETA: my general observation says that babyshop standalone stores have more variety than centrepoint stores. edited by presam12 on 11/09/2012

TDB, what shop did you call, do you mind me asking? I want to go this evening but am hesitating between Oasis and MOE....? Have a long list to get so the one with most choice would be best but not sure which one that would be....

Thanks for the heads up Plumie - I guess gone are the days now when trips to the UK meant buying Zara outfits for myself and instead will be loading up on H&M baby clothes and Jojo Maman Bebe! hehe :) Jojo Maman Bebe - yes!!! But have a peak at Zara Kids - gorge!!! And also Polarn O. Peret - only available in the UK! edited by plumie on 11/09/2012

Yay..i can now stop beating myself for not buying when the last big sale was on. Also if it helps anyone here, H n M have a nice sale going on , alot of baby and children clothes for only 10 20 dirhams. Great! I popped into the H&M kids section randomly and noticed how lovely their baby clothes are, really nice quality too so will definitely be making a visit! If anyone goes to the Babyshop sale please let us know what sort of items are discounted and by how much. Specifically have my eye on the Quinny Buzz 3! Thanks! H&M Kids clothing is awesome!!! Cheap, cheerful and good quality! And if you're in the UK - stock up! The prices are half price and the range much bigger than what we have here! I go to the UK annually just to shop for DD's clothing, and clear out the shelves in H&M :D

Thanks so much for the head up on this - do you think Oasis Centre or MOE would be a better option with regards to range of products etc?

Are Medaela pumps included in sale? Yes. I got a manual medela Harmony for aed 152 from aed 203 yesterday. I presume the electric ones would be in the sale too.

I went today to the Reef Mall one and asked a sales assistant, she looked very taken aback that I knew lol! The sale will be on across all Babyshops, not just the Oasis Mall one, and I asked if it will be on toys and she said yes :) Happy shopping! edited by sourskittleashnut on 09/09/2012
