Found out I am pregnant yesterday and I'm thinking that I may have the baby over here however I because I have a history of premature labour I was wondering if anyone knows which are the best neo-natal wards here in Dubai.

Sami, glad you had a good outcome, City NICU are fabulous and will have a place in my heart for a very long time, there is not a day goes by when I don't think of them and that is two years down the line, I guess Latifa or City would be my only recommendation.

I can only speak for City Hospital, my ds was in and out of there for up to six weeks, He was full term but had a few difficulties and the NICU were fabulous, he is just two years old now and we still keep in touch with those amazing people, it is expensive up to 5k per night but I believe Latifa are also fanctastic and they charge 4k per night, the only diffference is at city your baby will have one on one care if needed, as far as I;m aware at Latifa it is two babies per Nurse. The 4k per night at Latifa includes all tests and medication and is the maximum per day you have to pay at City there is no set limit. We were charged up to 15k per day when my daughter was critical. That being said we loved the nurses and care at City and recently went back to celebrate her first birthday with them.

Hi! My baby has IUGR and I've been seeing Dr Britt at City hospital (unfortunately she's leaving) and gone for my scan with Dr George at Genesis clinic. They are both EXCELLENT and I cannot be in better hands! I heard that the NICU at City is great.

Latifa is the best follows by Dubai hospital both are government. For private care I would recommend City hospital. NICU care is highly expensive in Dubai so please be prepared for the costs. Wish you a full term pregnancy.

Do you mean neonatal intesive care unit for pre-mature babies? Latifa Hospitals ( Alwasl ) is highly recommended as well established NICU with great consultant, doctors and nurses. It is a government hospital so you need to book with them during your pregnancy to secure a place for the baby if something happend later. I wish you long and safe pregnancy and delivery.
