There are no Bee's available currently due to a flaw in bearing manufacture between Jan 2011 ans Sept 2011, so they are sorting that out first. http://www.bugaboo.com/328 I ordered a limited edition soft pink one from www.babycare.nl about two weeks ago and they just emailed me yesterday to say they've received the buggy so will be shipping it soon. It better be a new one! :( Thanks DC. Ordered yesterday, shipped today so fingers crossed xxx

We used the Maxi Cosi Mura 4. Pros: It's very sturdy, easy to maneuver even one handed, proper tires so it actually works well in the sand, has adaptors to attach the Maxi Cosi infant seat, once your child uses the regular seat with it, it's extremely comfortable and reclines to a nearly flat position. Now the cons: it's very heavy, and very wide so can be a challenge to maneuver through stores sometimes, the seat has to be removed before folding and it takes up a lot of room in your vehicle. Despite all the cons I'm still very pleased we purchased this one and we're now using it again with our littlest one. Good luck in your decision

does anyone have an idea of prices of the bugaboo bee vs the bugabee chameleon? i know they sold at just kidding but when i check their website they only have the bugaboo accessories availablle. TIA HI pilatesmama I have a bugaboo cameleon - it was great when i had one kid, the same base but could use the maxi cosi / bassinet / actual seat Its fairly lightand easy to maneouvour with one hand ....the only thing that bugged me was i needed both hands to open /close it. But i really loved it and found it very easy to use and travel with the only reason i dont use it anymore is - i have 2 kids now and both take midday naps so had to get the dbl stroller (which also needs 2 hands to close!) so another thing to consider would be a stroller that can convert to a dbl stroller when number 2 comes along (some e/g are bugaboo donkey / icandy / babyjogger city select) but if you decide to get a cameleon I have one in excellent condition that i would sell at 50% of the purchase with the acessories thrown in for free my email adress is sandboxtreasures at gmail . com

we have the Maclaren Techno XT which can be used from birth (lie flat position) up until 25kgs... it's excellent... has an umbrella fold system so flat packs nicely for car boots etc... only disadvantage is that you can't attach a car seat to it... which is fine coz i don't mind taking the baby out of the car seat and strapping her into the stroller... coz even if she wakes up the minute the stroller is in motion she falls right back asleep again! i personally find the bugaboos, quinnys, gracos, etc all wayyy too bulky and annoying to put in and out of the car... especially since i also have a 5 year old child who also needs to be strapped in strapped out, etc.

hey there. i have a six month old and just like u i was super confused with what is usefull and what is over hyped expensive product.after a extensive search which started off at babyshop with graco to bugaboo i settled for SOLA by MAMAS & PAPAS.2nd floor,dubai mall. i found that sola has all the features of a bugaboo for halfish the price. i purchased the pushchair and carseat with isofix base. so far loving it and no regrets. plus when u go to mamas n papas while pregnant they give u their pregnant mum vouchers which r very usefull..they cover everything from maternity wear for u to nursery for the baby...somethings have 10% off some have more.. i think we got 20-30% of on the travel system. the only drawback..its wide..takes up the boot space in the car.

thanks so much for the info .i also heard that the bugaboo bee is the best. do u know whats the difference between the bugaboo bee and bugaboo bee plus as it seems there is no real difference if u look at features. If you look at the Bugaboo site and read the Bee+ specifications, it lists a few changes between the original Bee and the Bee+. From memory, it's mostly to do with size and adaptability.

I've had a few strollers over the past few years :D. I had a BebeConfort/Maxi Cosi Loola travel system to start with, then an iCandy Apple, then a Phil & Ted's Smart... and an umbrella-fold one or two along the way. While the travel system was great to start with when they were tiny, I soon got fed up with having to faff around taking it apart to fold it up and put it in the car. Out of all of them I liked the iCandy Apple the best but nice as it was, having to remove the seat unit was a real pain in the butt once the novelty value wore off. Having a stroller you can attach a car seat to is super-handy when they're small, as often they'll be asleep in the car and it's great to be able to transfer them straight to the stroller while they stay asleep in the seat. I'm trying to get hold of a Bugaboo Bee at the moment and if it's everything I'm expecting it to be, I'll probably wish I got one to start with.
