Im on my 9th week and everything seems to be going smoothly..
My gynac told me today I should have a double marker test.. After reading up on it, I'm not sure if that's something I want to do...she's been asking me to do a lot of tests although I haven't had anything negative.. I hv an appointment with Dr Elsa soon that I am SOOO looking forward to!
Have any of you had the double/ triple marker tests here in Dubai? I really don't want to be a guinea *** doing so many tests:(
DH thinks I'm overreacting and should do what the doc says but i really do feel like its a lot

I had it but it's absolutely not mandatory (insurance doesn't cover it unless you're over 35). Don't feel pressured into doing it at all. It's only a screening test that's adviced after 35 in some countries and after 40 in others.

I had it at FMC. I was told it was an option, and had reasons for choosing to have it done, but everything was fine. If you dont want it then you definitely dont HAVE to. And you'll save yourself a thousand dirhams :-)

Is that the 12-week NT scan and blood test? If so, you absolutely don't have to do it unless you want to. It's entirely your choice.
