Hi wonderful ladies! I was wondering if I could get a couple of reviews on Dr. Nasreen at AH. I am contemplating switching OBGYNs for prenatal and delivery care to AH.

Any opinions are helpful! Thanks oodles! :)

I'm still looking to suggestions for a new doc if you want to give them. I also read once that someone was seeing a doc in Dr. Suliman Habib Center but can't find the post. Anyone else know who? Dr Helena Christensen. My friend saw her for her 4th pregnancy and she was fab dr all around, gave friend her mobile number and was there to listen to all queries. Did a beautiful job with the necessary C section (breech baby) at City Hospital last October. Now another friend due in October is also seeing Dr Helena, she's quite happy.

Thanks so much ladies...but here's some news. So found out that my Insurance does squat for outpatient at AH, only inpatient...:( so they are kinda on hold or out till I get clarification. However, City and the Dubai Mall Med Center are in, so I made an appt with a doc there and I'm hoping I like her. Seeing her next monday (dr. Grace Jacob). Thanks Sydneygal. I checked with Dr. Sant and they dont take my insurance. Also, no evening hours for the working momma to be. :( so that one is out. I'm still looking to suggestions for a new doc if you want to give them. I also read once that someone was seeing a doc in Dr. Suliman Habib Center but can't find the post. Anyone else know who? Still searchin............

Hey, I had my littel girl at the AH two months ago with Dr.George. I cannot sing his praises enough, he was fantastic from beginning to end. Miss not seeing him for my monthly check-ups!! He was very reassuring and kind. HTH. edited by cuppatea on 13/06/2011

for anyone wanting to go to a clinic, I would really recommend Dr Rosalie Sant, she is fantastic as is all the staff at Primavera Medical Clinic. I never felt rushed at all. SHe also delivers out of American, Welcare and City so you can choose. x

Now both of you have me convinced that I need to see a doc in a clinic setting rather than hospital. I would feel so bad being rushed. I am not now, luckily but my doc doesnt deliver at AH, only medcare. I think i'm going to try to find one that has their own clinic but delivers there. I just know me and I need to ask a million questions and like it when I have the time to. Thanks for the input ladies. You really have helped me out a lot. :D

Hmmm tricky answer - felt like a rushed number for all my appointments before the birth but on the actualy 'birth day' I felt like a princess.....no...queen......yes really. Those midwives and nurses,I tell you, should be made into royalty. I felt like I was the only woman giving birth, they couldn't have given me more care, attention or time even if they tried. So makes my answer abit wish washy I guess....sorry :s My prenatal appointment and follow up with Dr Raj were rushed and i always felt stressed afterwards as I never felt I could ask any questions. Had it not been my first time, I probably should have had the confidence to change to one of the dr's at AH.

Hey DC im with Medcare hospital Jumeirah and i am sooo unhappy with the doc cos she does honestly treat me like a number, she has alotted a specific 5 minutes and thats it whatever u can ask in those few minuts you can ask (that too u will get many disgruntled replies) and the rest is left for your next vist which for us is a month apart.

Enigma, if you dont mind me asking, where are you going currently? I'm still at Dr. Fakikh's but wanted to move closer to home and deliver at AH, so I'm getting more ideas. N.Kaye - quick question: Did you feel like you were getting the "personal touch" when you went in for check-ups at AH? I am only hesitant now on the possibility of just being another number...I hate that concept. At my current clinic, everyone knows me, my name, my hubby's name, and treats me really nicely. I'm looking for that again before I move. Your thoughts?

Love AH it was brill and also speak highly of Dr George - he is very gentle and respectful an all round decent guy. On the other hand I had dr raj and I would never ever in a million years recommend dr raj after my experience with her. Lots of opinions and as you can see here you have both opinions. All depends :D

Thanks Simpsons. I have seen Dr. George before for a pre-conception checkup. He seemed really nice. I just thought I would check out all the options. Do you know if he has a clinic? Or is he primarily in AH? Thanks for the info and congrats on the newborn! :D
