He has a dream feed around 10.30-11pm still. I wonder if I should cut this out and feed him if/when he wakes early in the morning instead?
Or continue to do the dream feed. But just draw it out. Feed, change nappy s...l...o...w...l...y and then give him the rest of the feed. Do this for a few nights and then try doing it as normal and see if it helps.
to be honest, I think it's just the sun coming up earlier - both my two are the same. I have no idea what time DD came in to our room this morning, but it was early... very early. DS was up and about by 7h too. I reckon DD was up at 6h (DH stuck the Playstation on for her! lol Toddler bliss!)
I remember many a time in June/July when I was back in the UK DD would get up before even CBeebies came on, and that's at 6h!
You could try black-out blinds if you think his room may be too bright!
Could you try waking him gently at around 10:30pm, change his nappy and give him a drink of water/bottle and settle him again?
Or...try the method where you stir them up an hour before the time they are waking up. So if he's waking at 5:30 for example, stir him about at 4:30?
These are all just things I've read...not actually tried myself, so feel free to laugh it off ;-)
