Hi Ladies, I've just noticed that exhale in JBR are starting pre-natal pilates classes in the evenings from next week. I think they're on a Sunday & Tuesday @5.45.... Still a bit early, but a good excuse to escape work a little earlier!

Hello Ladies, I am a prenatal yoga teacher at Zen Yoga and I have just been reading your thread. Are you interested in prenatal yoga classes or just pilates? We have space on a Tuesday evening at 7.30pm and on a Thursday at 6.15pm for prenatal yoga. We often have cancellations for the pilates classes so it is worth putting your name on the reserve list as you will probably get a call. Hope this helps, we are working at increasing the class sizes in the evening, so please keep an eye on the schedule and check with the receptionists at DMC for more spaces next month. Hope to see you there, but please get in touch if you want to discuss further and perhaps come and check out my prenatal yoga class in the meantime? Amelia

Hi Norts - I know 5.30 is a little early, but I guess it's better than nothing as most prenatal classes are mid-week mornings. Hopefully someone in the pilates business will realize that there's a huge demand for evening classes for the working mums-to-be.

HI Liv, Im desperatly trying to find a class near down town or Bur Dubai. Even 530pm is very early in the evening for those who finish work at 6pm. Im hoping someone sees this thread and realises there is a real need for nighttime classes in the downtown side of Dubai.

Hi Ladies, just to update you - Exhale at JBR have said that they will be adding an evening prenatal pilates class to their schedule shortly - They just need to confirm the instructor and timings. It's likely to on around 5.30pm

they def havent opened their books for march, i asked them last night- maybe they give it to regular customers first... there were a few cancellations yesterday at the last minute so it may be worth turning up and see? pain if you dont live near by but its an option :) Cakes, I might have to resort to turning up to every class at Zen and begging them to squeeze me in!!!

Sourskittleash, Caroline @ exhale is fantastic, I've been going to her regular pilates classes for the last 2 yrs or so. It's just a shame about the prenatal classes being in the mornings. I've just emailed the manager at exhale to query about putting on evening or weekend classes - you're right maybe if a few more of us emailed - it might work. Other option might be to approach Caroline and see if she was interested in taking a few of us for a class somewhere independently...she used to do free lance work before, but not sure if she still does....

I've heard Exhale in JBR has excellent Prenatal Pilates classes, their instructor Caroline is meant to be highly qualified. From what I can see they only have classes in the morning, but I'm going to call and ask them; maybe if enough of us ask they'll make evening classes!

Thanks for the replies Twin Butterfly & Cakes, I spoke to Zen and they said they are booked out for two months...but I will try calling again around 19th to see if there have been any cancellations. Looks like evening classes are hard to come by :-(

i am going tonight to the one in media city- zen yoga. they just called to confirm and i asked about march but they dont open their calendar for the following month until the end of the previous month. give them a call week beginning 19th and you should be able to get in for march.

Have you tried both centres? They have one at DMC and one at Emirates Hills. Also just remembered that Spa Dunya at Shams 1 do pregnancy Yoga. I have checked the classes description on their website and they only talk about Pilates but if you are very desperate ... Just bear in mind that the entrance is at the back of the building, not easy to find - you need to walk around the corner from the little supermarket. <em>edited by twin_butterfly on 07/02/2012</em>
