Also just realised and we have fully comprehensive insurance and it only pays out for the nt scan if you are over 35 years old. I think most will be the same.

Ok, thanks, good to know, unfortunately my Oman insurance only covers 50% when not on the network :( So upsetting since I work for one of the rich oli companies in Abu Dhabi. edited by imolinar on 27/04/2011 Why do you want to go there specifically? All of the private hospitals in Dubai have someone that can do these tests, why don't you call your insurance and find out which ones are fully covered?

Hi, Im also going to FMC for nt scan, they told me the cost is 1550 dhs. Im also Oman Insurance (premium network) and I called Oman, they told me they will not cover anything done at FMC because its 'optional' and not a regular scan.

I had Oman Insurance and they do give you the claim form signed and sealed. But there is a co payment of 20% as FMC is not on Oman Insurance network. HTH.
