Once you’re past the stage of freezing purees in ice cube trays, how do you freeze your more lumpier food? Little cubed containers or something similar? I found some stage 2 containers in Mothercare and then there's the ziplock goodies from Spinneys etc but was just wondering what everyone else does? I’m going to need a separate freezer just for baby!

I freeze all of DS's meals in glad branded ziplock bags - I use these instead of containers because they save on wasted room in the freezer. We BLW so most of his food is cooked fresh, but mac cheese, lasagne, risotto, stews, soups, cheese sauces for over veges etc I freeze in single meal portions...

I found semi-disposable tubs in Geant, five for 20dhs. They hold enough for one meal with a bit of space and have lids. They come in two colourways - one for boys and one for girls - and are on one of the stands as you enter the baby aisle from the middle lane of the store.

Claire K I use the those stage 2 containers from mothercare. They are easier to reuse, clean and stack up very well in the freezer. You can also buy similar ones in waitrose. Not sure about the ziplock, not used them. Beware don't make too much. My son loved things like vegetable lasagne and spaghetti, which I made in batch, recently two of his upper teeth came...now he doesn't like stuff. I put in his mouth he just spits it out! :( So much food got wasted. Oh well!
